mechanics


Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Senior Mechanic and carrying out repairs and maintenance to drilling equipment and associated equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with Permit to Work system.
  • Immediately rectifying or reporting to the Senior Mechanic any defects or discrepancies in drilling or associated equipment.
  • Member of the Maintenance Team for all emergencies as described in the Contingency and Emergency Manual. 

Requirements:
  • Seadrill requires Mechanics with a Mechanical Trade Certificate or equivalent and experience working in the Drilling, Oil & Gas or related industries.

Seadrill Mechanics work on rotations of 28 days on the rig, 28 days at home.
