Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Mechanic and carrying out repairs and maintenance to drilling equipment and associated equipment.
- Ensure compliance with Permit to Work system.
- Immediately rectifying or reporting to the Senior Mechanic any defects or discrepancies in drilling or associated equipment.
- Member of the Maintenance Team for all emergencies as described in the Contingency and Emergency Manual.
Requirements:
- Seadrill requires Mechanics with a Mechanical Trade Certificate or equivalent and experience working in the Drilling, Oil & Gas or related industries.
